I was just wondering if anyone could help me 'improve' the background image we (KIK) use for our gadget.
I have made a sort of 'cut-line' version (like Vista taskbar).
Any ideas (concepts) are welcome!
If the finished product can be posted here that would be great.
Attached is the original. I used this for my newer graphic.
Of course the edited graphic will be credited in the notes... release information... and Config :D

I agree with that too, it a normal image with high quality! That is something I like. No fancy effects who dont match the rest like what p01 mentioned longtime ago "mid-90ties gfx".
Clanky: Just curious but do you use IceCast or ShoutCast as a server? And wich program do u use to broadcast with?

@Everyone:
Thanks guys! I like it too. My boss did it... looks good.
I'm thinking of making a 'background' selector coded into the Settings so users can change the variety of background.
@p43:
IceCast!? ShoutCast!? (are they servers for streams?)
We currently use 'Win4.Fast-Serv' servers to run our stream... using mms.
Sorry if this is wrong. I wasn't working when the stream and server was organised.

@va!n:
The logo is for the background image used with our radio stream gadget (windows vista). It can represent any of your graphical desires! If it looks good, then it is good. There is no real - genre, so go for your hearts content :P
I made some more backgrounds. They are sort of - really graphical. Not a simple graphic. Some use glow, multi-gradient and other effects to make the backgrounds look different.
But, you can make it simple... there is always a hidden greatness in simple graphics (I always liked FFIX graphics better than FFX and above... not sure if it is was the pixelated graphics... or the colour!?)
