Title: Freeware Desktop alternative to Luna (Windows XP) and Aero (Windows Vista)

i  have found possible an interesting freeware project. its an freeware replacement for the desktop of XP and Vista with some nice features. what do you think? more infos at: http://www.cairoshell.com/ (http://www.cairoshell.com/)

"The developers already stated that it should be ran in a virtual environment. I wouldn't have any illusions of day to day usability or stability yet."

If Linux is a step change from Windows, why are most of the Linux WDMs ripped off from Microsoft and Apple?  And not as good.

No its a window shell replacement. So its something you load ontop of windows and it takes over all window functionality, if I have understood it correctly at least.

It looks pretty but it's just something else to go wrong afaic..
