Well, another competition draws to it's close and again we have a nice selection of fine entries to choose from!
Sorry for the little delay in getting this poll together, I had to take some screen shots :)
Anyway, please choose two options from the poll above.
You must choose two from the list.
Votes from users who vote for thier own productions will not count.
Votes from users who only vote for 1 will not count. (We can and do check this).
This poll runs for 5 days from now after which the winner will be announced.
If first place is tied then there will be a vote-off for the cash prize, although first place sig + karma will be awarded to both if that situation arises :)
There are only 2 votes per person this time because there were only 7 entries to the comp.
Anyway this was made up with the quality (perhaps with the exception of my own entry).
Nb. If I win the top prize I will choose who gets the cash (I wont award it to myself as it would be silly).

Firstly we have HELIX by Jim.
Helix rotates a flat image around to reveal a different picture on each side, flexing as it does so.

The next one we have is ALPHABLENDING ON CRACK by Mind, aka texture san.
This entry actually has three different transition effects where pictures blend into each other with an algorithm that looks like it could be Perlin noise.

Next one in the list is RELAX by Ninogenio.
This is a bona fide textmode entry and instead of using pictures like the other entries in the comp, Nino chose to use effects that change according to the beat of music that plays during the demo.

Following on from Relax, we have PLASMAGIRLS by Optimus.
This entry has several pictures of various ladies, there is a smooth plasma pattern transition going on where the pictures blend into each other over time.

Next along, ASD FAN by Rbraz... Or is it RBZ these days?
Anyway, here he pays homage to one of his favourite demos, a line of coiled ribbons unfurl down the screen to achieve the transition.

Also by Rbraz, there is FLOWER.
He submitted two versions of this, one in software and one using shaders.
It uses geometrical patterns that are shaped like flower petals to transform between various fractal patterns.

Lastly we have BABELICIOUS by yours truely.
I scoured the internet to find two unique ladies for this entry and used an alpha blended plasma routine to change between the two so that you can appreieate the true beauty of these women.

Erk, a 4-way tie!
First of all, congratulations to you all, especially Jim who wins 1st prize.
I need to have a little bit of thought about the fairest way to decide 2nd and 3rd.

I'll get these signatures done :)
As the only placing with cash was won outright, all the tied 2nd place entries will get a banner and the karma.
There's no point in running another vote, after all theres no cash at stake for that placing!

Thank you for your patience! These sigs take a while to make and Dicab was rather busy with other things... Anyway, final placings:
1st place:
Jim (who Got £25, Sig, 27 karma).
Well done!
2nd place:
As there was no cash for 2nd the placing was allowed to be tied between three!
Rbraz (who got sig , 19 karma (2*2k for 2 entries)).
Optimus (who got sig , 17 karma ).
Mind (who got sig , 17 karma ).

3rd place:
Ninogenio(who got sig , 12 karma).
Well done on your first win!
And bringing up the rear was me, for last place I got 2k for entering the comp!
