Really small cpu.
atom cpu (http://www.chip.de/ii/grossbild_v2.html?grossbild=166706100_21cce8212a.jpg&grossbild_bu=%3Cb%3EAtom-Prozessor%3A%3C%2Fb%3E%20Reiskorn-gro%26szlig%3B%20und%20zehnmal%20energie-effizienter%20als%20herk%26ouml%3Bmmliche%20CPUs.&ivwkat=%28%5D317sonstig%2F%28%5D108hardw%2FPC-Hardware%2FProzessor&cxo_alphabet_pfad=%28%7Dsonstiges%2F%28%7DTest+%26+Kaufberatung%2FPC-Hardware%2FProzessor&R2_IR_CONTAINER_ID=31353938&R2_IR_BEITRAG_ID=4995634&R2_IR_LAYOUT_ID=3072&R2_TITEL=Artikel%2520-%2520Intel%2520Atom%253A%2520Alles%2520zu%2520den%2520neuen%2520Prozessoren&R2_IR_CONTAINER_URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chip.de%2Fartikel%2FIntel-Atom-Alles-zu-den-neuen-Prozessoren_31353938.html)

Gotta love tiny stuff and its packing quite a punch too
Max CPU clock: 800 MHz to 1.87 GHz
FSB speeds: 533 MT/s
My Celeron has a FSB of 333MHz which means that this little chip will spend only half the time waiting for memory than my celeron does
Edit : Unless 533 MT/s is not the same thing as 533 MHz

Hmm I've seen those on my pockets....OH to the right! That is small. ;)

You can see Intel's strategy here. Make 2-core CPUs and get everyone to learn how to code multi-threaded - they've been doing free webinars and publishing all kinds of white papers for the last 5 years - instead of relying on faster and faster CPUs. Then bring out a CPU like this, but put a couple of dozen of these cores on it instead of two. Then watch what happens :D

Since Apple have recently started using Intel based hardware, would such a device, in a Mac, have an Apple Core?
It would be great to see these multi-core processors in action - with the right programming.
