For thier hosting?

We are using up about 550mb of our 800mb at the moment, we'll have to move sites in about a year :)

What we need is 2Gb+ of storage and 1Gb of bandwidth/month at a reasonable rate.  The shame is that our current provider hasn't uprated their plan in the last couple of years, so we're very stuck with our < 1Gb site.  Any suggestions?

Jim

One thing that might be useful to know when looking for a hosting solution is the budget you are looking at.

Most of them are under $10 a month Zawran, we are after what Jim says. especially 2gb of storage :)

@Shockwave: If you need a 500mb ftp account, I can setup one for you :)

Thats really kind of you rbz, at the moment I have 1.6gb of storage over two sites, the problem is that this site is getting too big for Petahosting so the whole thing needs to be moved to somewhere with a lot more storage so that it can carry on growing.

I guess that it could be possible to point this forum at an attachments directory elsewhere but I am sure that it would mean modifying some of the scripts for the forum and making it more likely to fail during upgrades.

There are so many hosting providers, I know I've made posts like this before but it seems that petahosting wont change our plan, and while they have been really good hosts, this site will have to move to a bigger house sooner or later, there's no getting away from it.

I am using the Danish division of http://www.surftown.eu/ (http://www.surftown.eu/) and they have worked just fine for me. I did not spot bandwidth limit anywhere on their .eu site, so I am not sure, but on my own I have a 50gb/month limit, so perhaps its similar on their .eu division offer. They seem to offer 500gb space which should be sufficient for years to come.
