I just came on to post this and seen that Optimus has made a tunnel too! :)
Cool! I am sorry Optimus I wasn't trying to plagiarise you, I have been working on this for a couple of evenings.
Anyway, they will most likely be completely different, I read in your topic that you have "fogged" your tunnel, I have dithered mine so there's no harm in having two tunnels eh?
-
Definitely two different tunnel effects, who knows.. we might see more yet ;)
-
Hey nice one. Definitely some effort in that. I like it with the scroller and the music.
-
Cool you saved one colour just for the text (thanks for making it easy to read) awsome that you managed to get so much done with only three shades of brown
-
Loving your work Shockie.3D effect is amazing felt like a potholer watching it.
Well done mate.
-
:D Cheers for the nice comments chaps!
Yep, I thought I'd be cheeky and try and do a 3D tunnel in 3 colours, it's not hubris I promise you, I just thought it would be cool to have a total different colour for the scroller because I felt that the one in my first attempt didn't stand out very well.

Another pure nostalgic release - damn I feel like I own a Spectrum,
internet is still called ARPANET and data connection speed is measured
in bits per seconds.
Another excellent release.
-
nice tunnel scroller and muzak colors not to my taste though. well done
-
Really cool!
YOu say that the dithering is blocky but I have always found dithering more of a stylistic choice. I liked it visually very much. Brown is one of my favorite colors too.
-
Nice and very cleverly done.
-
Liking this alot. The tunnel is very well made and so is the music used + colors.
It all looks like sand and the sand/desert-levels are always my fav ones in games etc.
This feels like one.
Nice!!

Thanks for the kind comments folks :)

It's good of you to say so, in fact when I made this I was actually thinking of the first time I saw Starglider on the Commodore Amiga, flying under the planet surface throught the tunnels.
-
Cool :) Starglider rocked back in the day
