Title: Sound lib for fbc + DOS?

Hi!

I am working on a DOS disk mag and i could use something that plays some music on ye olde SB16, any ideas?

Depends what sort of sound you want to play really.

If it's soundtracker songs and samples, I know for a fact that BWSB (Bells Whistles and Sound Boards) can be made to work with Freebasic because I saw it done once.

There are other Quickbasic sound players that can be used to play Wavs etc, like DMA play, that should be possible to make it work with Freebasic.

There are also a shitload of sound librares here on this very forum but I am not sure how compatible they are with 16 bit Soundblasters, my suggestion would be to try Tinysid and Ufmod too, just in case!

I will have a look at it, sounds good. :)

I think that these would require swaping out and into pmode.

As i saw it TinySID and UFMod are not for DOS but for Windows and in some extend for Linux, but i will have a closer look there too, just for the SID sounds  :C=:
