Hey :)
I wanted to compose some electro music with old school demos inspiration. Electro is not really the stuff I love to work on when composing but time to time, it's nice :p So here it is, the file is in OGG format ('don't know why, Lame doesn't want to encode on my computer .. )
Download : 10 Print "Hello World" (http://narky00.free.fr/10_Print_Hello_World.ogg)
All the synths used are freeware. If anybody wants to know the VSTs used, ask here, I'll write a list.
Oh and, I worked on it with headphones, but when I listened to it on my loudspeakers, the bass had too much mediums and the global mix' seemed more high-pitched than in the headphones .. Anyway, if anybody wants to use it for anything, don't hesitate. Please consider this track under Creative Commons License (If someone wants it in Wav format, I can send it)
A last thing : the song were composed for being looped.

I've got to find something that will play this.
Hey, thanks anyway for the contribution. It is great to see people helping each other out!

Well, if it can be useful for someone, I'll be glad :)
You can read ogg with Winamp, VLC and a lot of players. Don't know if windows media player reads it though.

Thanks shockwave :)
I cheated a bit with the bass (based on samples of a real acoustic bass) and the drums, oh and there's a mellotron too :p Next time, i'll try to end up with something totally oldschool (I should learn to use trackers .. -_-)

Sounds very BBC with a modern Remix cool :)
Amiga Music Preservation might be a good place for some inspiration and help, full of chip tunes. http://amp.dascene.net/home.php
