Hurray beat the raiden clone on my first try. Almost lost my last few lives but I finished the boss off with the pea shooter level 1 laser shot.

I should go dust off my copy of Raiden Project (has the first and second games on 1 ps1 game)

EDIT I just realized you could loop the game.
