I have mixed feelings about this one.. SIZECODING (http://sizecoding.blogspot.com/2008/10/disappointing-last-4k.html) Lots of you know about Auld and his fantastic work, he was and still is a member of this community, he posted many fantastic topics and helped dozens and dozens of people.
I still don't completely know the reasons why, but last year he decided to go away from here for an unknown amount of time, he sent me a message to ask me to keep his account open and in that message he asked me to keep it private, and I have done.
The things I can post here are things he has publically said.
In the info for Triangle Ted Seeks a new Job he explains the difficulties that he faced at work, and how he eventually found a great new place to work where he fitted in.
In his blog he says that he left this community last year, so I will take from this that he has moved on.
My mixed emotions are because I feel sad that I finally know now that Chris won't be coming back now, and I will really miss his posts, I learned a hell of a lot from that guy, he was very kind to me.
I feel happy though that maybe he has found happiness, away from scene politics and arguments and hopefully some joy in his work.
Just on the off chance that you ever read this post Chris, I want to wish you the best of everything mate. You deserve it.
If you have a fault, you care too much.
I'd reccommend Auld's blog to anyone who is interested in the art of making small intros, it's fascinating reading.

That's strange - just yesterday I browsed the Auld's sizecoding blog
and also thought about him. Due to latest FLOW2 article I visit the
pouet link - and then I read the readme of flow2 (http://www.pouet.net/nfo.php?which=30589) the first time.
I saw that he credited me. That was such a strange feeling - because
if someone owns the credit for flow2 and actually for all tiny stuff I
ever coded than this would be Auld himself.
Always hoped to meet him on a scene party personally and drink some
beer with him. I really learned a lot from him - and like you say Shocky -
he is a fantastic guy.
So, all I can do is that I hope he is fine and enjoys his life.
AULD - YOU RULE.
Take care!

i totally have to agree... its really sad, that this great and always very friendly guy is no longer active here. I have to thank him for some great stuff/help, he may know ;)
However, i wish you Auld all the best for you and your future! All the best... 8)
