Hi Pixel People,
If anybody is genuinely interested in creating cool quality and original graphics material for Gravity, please feel free to get in touch with some examples of your work via pm or via email to gravity_demosAthotmailDotCom.
I know how time is very precious, so am after 1 or 2 people.
you'll be required to not only produce bitmap fonts / logos, also illustrations.
If your reading this and know of some contacts, I wonder if you wouldnt mind casualling mentioning about this request.
Cheers,
Clyde.

Wow ... sounds like we can expect some more production of Gravity
in the near future ... good news.
Unfortunately I do not know any scene GFXler anymore - but I keep my
finger crossed that you find someone!
-
Cheers Benny for your interest and encouragement, i need good artists in order to finish some stuff. ;)
-
Here is a little something i have been playing around with for you Clyde let me know what you think ??
-
Here is another one
-
Im going to PM you shortly dude, look nice mate.
-
Love the reptile skin effect - that's tremendous!
Jim
-
Nice outline :) I'm sure that could be put to good use.
-
Definatly going to incorparate your logo Dr. D and thanks heaps for it.
Have now put up another request on Deviant Art, so fingers crossed.
Cheers and thanks
Clyde.
-
We'll I've not had much luck what so ever. Going to rethink about Gravity's future.
-
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful mate I am still only learning PS. It's a pity you didn't have more look on devianart there are a lot of shit hot graphics on there.
-
It might be easier to get artwork when you provide some work in progress - ideally with external dummy graphics people can play with.
-
Yeah, give it another try, Clyde mate.
And I think Hellfire is right - it might encourage more external
designers if they see that there is a project going on. Good luck!
-
Well, you shouldn't give up Clyde as the others have said, keep trying.
You don't essentially need graphiocs for everything anyway, there are some quite nice things that are designed by coders.
Anyway when I first knew you I asked you for some logos and they were'nt bad so if you are really up against it why not brush up on the old art skills?
-
Are you looking for this type of work?
*clearly not finished*
-
That's amazing ... looks very cracktro-styled.
Did you make it?
-
;D Thanks for the comment, and yeah I did.
-
That's very nicely drawn Mynes. I like that.
-
Wicked mynes much better than mine mate!!
Have you done anything else you could show us??
-

Something recent.
-
I like that too it has a nice pastel look to it. I can imagine it in a little cracktro with some dragon balls bouncing around.
-
I like your style mate what programs do you use??
-
100% photoshop.
-
Yup, like your style, too! Good work, man!
-
Thanks for the comments guys.
-
Very Cool indeed!
-
I need some lessons off you then mate my PS is in need of some help??
-
Mynes, PM sent dude.
-
I need some lessons off you then mate my PS is in need of some help??
100 dollar pounds per lesson mate ;D It really isn't anything you can't Google around for its just a merge of those type of techniques (3D TEXT, PS Painting).
Mynes, PM sent dude.
Replied. :)
-
Mynes:
that is amazing and i wish i had your artist skills :)
-
@Meynes
I really like your style. Great work! Also in the Skid Row Cracktro.
-
Indeed, very nice work.
-
here is a little something i came up with.
i don't know what exactly you are looking for , so ... here it is.
.:EDIT:. and a 3D one in two versions "background/transparent".
-
and another one
-
Thanks Im really greatfull for everyones time and efforts spent on these.
Im looking out for more illustrated stuff ( aliens, hot babes, drawings ) like in the 1990's + C64 / Amiga / ST and early PC demos. Haujobb / Equinox / Scoopex stuff is a good example if you stumble on them.
-
Can you post some examples?
-
I'll see about getting some pouet links together soon.
-
retro remakes links would help too if there's a remake with those graphics in it
-
an example as I've just got up and not done owt at all today really. Designs like on pouet / Intro Inferno logos - daxx and jizzy etc. they arent soley dependant on texture filled true type stuff; nothing wrong in that them. alot of gfx takes a good few months. and you know from watching demos, the type of stuff that can be done.
another example detailed / pixelated letters like a windy path with a snake comming out and wrapped around.
As allways thanks for your hard work and efforts, and f1rstly thankyou for your interest,
Clyde.
-
ok i know what you mean and i have an idea but it requires 3D so don't expect to see it tomorrow.
btw that billboard is 3D too.
-
3d is my middle name! :D
Actually, it isn't, but still...
If anybody ever requires something 3d, just shoot me a message!
-
Cool! :)
this wasnt done with a 3D app ;)
-
i know
someone that can make gfx can tell that. ;)
i know it doesn't have to be 3D but what i came up with leaves me with no choice.
because you just can't shoot some pool without "gravity" ;)
but yeah i get the general idea of what you are looking for.
.:EDIT:. there you go , i hope you like it.
-
Nice Work Dude!
-
glad you like it m8
and a kinda funny one :P
-
I like the last one, throw some pixel dust over it, for that extra bit of pixelated awesomeness! ;)
-
something like this?
.:EDIT:. added the other one i was working on "coin-op cabinet gravity".
.:EDIT2:. after reading this post -> http://www.dbfinteractive.com/forum/index.php/topic,4740.msg63991.html#msg63991
i thought why not? i've never seen an anaglyph demo/intro before :inspired: so here it is the coin-op cabinet gravity in anaglyph.
best viewed with those paper red/cyan glasses :P
enjoy
.:EDIT3:. (lol) attached the transparent version
