if you think about it a new pc matching those specs these days costs roughly that.
I hope it does do well, commodore made amazing computers.

who going to make games and software for Amiga X1000?  EA? Codemater?

I dont think so unless the amiga x1000 had real killer of CPU and graphics to put High End PC to shame!!!   :diablo: LOL

Amiga 4.1 OS and not sure about other OS  :)

Good question.. I think probably nobody except hobbyists. If the customisable chip idea is any good it will just be ripped off by the really big players.

im thinking back on the huge back catalogue of stuff available for Miggy's.
Me and WinAue don't mix so it would be quite nice, butt can't afford such things this year.

I think it is interesting that the Amiga still sells over there. I haven't seen an Amiga here in the US for years. It was quite popular back in the day but faded out, along with the Atari ST and all the other comps when the IBM compatibles came out here.

I still wish I had my Atari XE, but I lost it (or sold it) somewhere along the way. It would be fun to mess with it.
