Title: Pixotica - Some of my grafx
Post by: pixotica on February 09, 2010
Here are 4 bits of my work to introduce myself. I do 2d and 3d grafx and animation.  Always up to hear from anyone here on the board. Pixotica.

Welcome aboard Pixotica!

I really like the Ouija scene.  Do you work on stuff like that for fun?  Have you had any of your graphics in a demo before?

pixotica nice, not only your gfx, but the spirit u might have ( i love it ... ie. whatever you do (compose, gfx, code, RE or all of them), if u have strict discipline that you do it almost daily...it's awesome + makes u automatically good at it

..And it is never about one work what determines you (more like years of workflow, how steady the line is), or that you must do a perfect picture at one shot (some ppl think like this...eeww that one is ugly, he's bad etc), especially in graphics/modeling, more like you deliver some render at first, and then fix it and improve it and and and.. based on what ppl say. And it won't never ever be perfect :)

The problem is more than often also that many things look good, but you can only choose one. Conflict.

..Welcome!

Hi Pixotica, welcome to the website and thank's for posting some of the things you have done.

My favourite scene out of the four is the Ouija one, the last image looks quite mesmeric too, it plays with your eyes as if it's moving even though it's static.

Hey Thanks Everyone. Nice to see aboard where people are active and into it. I am so looking forward to hanging out here.
So far this is just a hobby, I started with an amiga 500 many years ago, did a few terrible games, some music gave up for a while then finally found some software for windozy that I liked; which took a while, grins. I did an Ai game thing you can find over on freewarefiles called u4ia-ai4u. I am now working just on grafx, 2d/3d and 3d animation, I am very keen on the demo scene thing as a watcher, and am working on a wannabe demo ie and avi for youtube. I wish I could code it but I just am not that into coding anymore. So here I am. Master electrician by day Pixotica by night. All is well with world, grins. Merlins room is still a young photo, I just keep rendering it as I add objects. If anyone else uses micrografx simply3d let me know, I just love this software after 10 years of using it since buying on ebay for $5 I still think it rocks and I use it every day. I will pop more on here as It becomes available. I am honing my art skills more and more and hope that at some point I will make a living doing digital art. One must never stop the dream. Great board. Look forward to reading and seeing everyones stuff. Best Regards. Pixotica.

It would be nice to see gfx-challenges on dbf in the future if enough people were up to it
