Seems that might have been a glitch when I was viewing the file over the local net.

I've got quite a bit of paccy typed in now.  Got the intro, instructions and menu working ok.  The map comes up but there's lots of blank lines. I must have a wrong value somewhere.

The old Win 98 machine has had a seizure and doesn't access the internet now.  The ethernet card works fine in Linux, but Windows won't play.  Looks like a re-install <groan>
