It's Zeb from Sundown (where's Graham?)
All through school maths wasn't my strong point. I never knew what was going on and as a coder on the Amiga I skipped out of demo coding as I couldn't figure out the maths to bounce something up and down like a ball.
I install Blitz Max after Sundown then forgot about it due to something I had to work on. Found BM again when clearing out my PC and gave it a go and remember seeing a tank thing as part of the demos. I now understand sin() and cos() and for some reason, I went right to Javascript (no idea why I chose Satan's language) and made a logo bounce around my browser.
Awesome!
I won't ever get into BM like some of you guys are as somehow I found it easier learning 680x0 assembler than I have BM. Maybe I need a decent step-by-step tutorial and will one day track one down but for now I'll see how long I last here.

Yay, a fellow JavaScripter! Welcome to the forums.
Look around, join in the contest, and if you have any coding related questions, at least one of us is bound to have the answer, no matter which language you pick.

Welcome back Zeb.
I had to miss the last Sundown because my sight was too bad, I know Ruairi said it was going to be the last one he organised.. Do you think anyone will step in and run a Sundown next year?

I'm not sure - there was talk of it being held elsewhere, a bit more northern.
It could mean the end of it for me if it is if my fianances aren't that great. I'll miss helping out with it, it was great fun and every time something happened to my car. I think the last one was the one time my car didn't die at the end.

Hi Graham!
I've stopped learning C++ and I've stopped coding assembler.
I'd love to get my head around BlitzMax but I won't be taking it too seriously like I did with assembler, I've got a lot of responsibilities that I never had before and I don't have anywhere near as much spare time.
