Hope you like this..
It's pure pixel pushing, all software rendered using Tinyptc.
Sadly due to the shit way I played the shotgun sample it sometimes crashes when you exit.. No time to fix it as I have to get to work on sorting out DBF.
Anyway it was a lot of fun and my 3 year old son is worryingly addicted to it!
-
I really like it! Gfx/Effects are done very nice! Great work!
Btw, thx for greetings ;)
-
Double-barreled mouse buttons are a good idea :)
Nice little destructo!
Jim
-
Thanks both!
Glad you like it.
-
That's somehow sick, but I love it! Thanks for the greetings! :)
(and lol @ that you let you son play it. :D )
-
Hehe, as soon as he saw the teddy scrolling across the screen, he grabbed the mouse, pushed me out of the way and started shooting the stuffing out of the teddy..
Worryingly he stayed shooting the poor bastard for the best part of an afternoon so I ended up having to work on this when he was napping!
-
That was classic - the music seemed to go very well with it, and I enjoyed the ability to go almost rapid-fire by using the left and right buttons alternately.
I'm sure this would make an interesting fair-ground game - shoot the teddy to win a target :o
-
Well, if I were you I'd make sure to never wear a teddy costume for Halloween while he grows up! ;D
-
KILL!! KILL!! KILL!!
-
I just *refuse* to shoot little Teddy!
Nah, I want a m60 machine gun to shoot more bullets :diablo:
-
Aw, teddy looks so cute whith his innards blown out, well done!
-
I manager got working on full screen on window 7 and yes...it is Addited and Killing the bear is fun! LOL ;D
-
Thanks for the nice words all you Teddy Torturers..
Maybe I'll even reveal my inspiration for this demo.
-
Really nice with the magnification effect :)
Love it :)
-
Haha cool! Very well done. Funny entry, good scrolling and smashing effects, nice zoom on the target. Nice details.
-
a double barrel of laughs
-
Ehehe. Very cool Shockwave. I have no objection to shooting the stuffing out of teddies, very nice work and good fun :)
-
Glad you like :)
Thanks for the nice comments!

No way - this is cruel. You have to change it from a teddy to something else. What about a "Barbie" doll?
Teddy is a no-no.
Christ, that's as bad as uninstalling Blitz3D.
-
Why don't you participate yourself?
There's still time to make something for this challenge.
-
It's just pixels, Puki ;D
Although shooting at Barbie dolls does sound like a cool idea...
(CK runs off to steal the idea)
-
Barbie's been done before..

Man, TBL kick so much ass! That rocks :)

Yeah I remember watching that on the live feed from breakpoint and thinking that it ruled. It's nearly 4 years old now I think Raizor.
-
This won ruled. A lot of fun. Great one!
-
Luke (my son) was shooting just at the teddy's head, and by the time it had reached the right hand side, he had somehow missed its eyes, and they were still looking at us ;D
-
Flickers a bit and has the same problem most fullscreen demos seems to have on my machine. When the screen goes back all my windows are moved to the wrong monitor.
But other than that it's a fun game. Even though I wanted to shoot the hearts in the background also.
-
Yep, I occasionally get flickering with it too. It's because of the way I have played the shotgun sound sample because when I leave it out of the program it doesn't flicker here at all.
-
Nicely executed (teddy and all!)
I wanted to blast it away properly, but once the stuffing is visible, you can't completely get rid.
Nice zoom and all nice and smooth :)

Thanks mate Glad you liked it and good to see you here again :)
Believe it or not that's a feature. The intro keeps a map of the teddy in memory and plots where the shotgun pellets have hit to stop it drawing bullet holes on top of each other.
