Dark Bit Factory & Gravity

Hi guys!
So here is my entry. I wanted to do something dark with lots of mayhem and kaboom and ended up doing this. :D But if you look closely, there's some "destruction" happening. I swear!
The logos were done by me with 3ds Max. This was my first try ever with that piece of software, so please keep that in mind whilst you are laughing.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it!
Pad :)
Edit: I made an extra windowed version. So if you have any problems running the main file try that one instead. You can press [SPACE] to switch between windowed and fake fullscreen. [ESC] exits.
Edit2: All in one zip now for your downloading convenience. Plus a minor bug fix.

The effects look good - I like the bubbles particularly.
The music also adds to the classic demo style.

I have double click Exe files and it went full screen then shut down to window taskbar at the bottom meaning it is gone.....
It would be nice if You make window version instead of full screen then i can see it

Thanks ck0 :)
@ Hotshot. Actually I got all standard errors handled so you should at least see an error message. What OS are you on? If it's 64bit try to run it in XP compatibility mode. If that doesn't help, I'll make a windowed version, eventhough I really didn't want to this time. ;)
-
Window 7 32bit :)
-
Alright. Windowed version attached to the main post.
-
Very good and it would be nice to be able to control the character and Bust everythings heh heh :)
-
Nice entry dude, the first version didn't work on the crippled laptop I'm using, but the windowed version ran fine. Cool music and nice bubbly effects, I liked how it all fell to bits on closing.
-
Thanks guys! :)
I don't know, I think I might switch to another coding language than Purebasic. I get the impression that it's not really reliable with Windows versions > XP and that really sucks. Or I can't code. Or both. :D Anyway, as long as the windowed version works for all (fingers crossed) I'm happy. And hey, a "buy none get 2 different program versions free" isn't a bad deal either, is it? hehe

Both .exe's work fine for me on win 7.
Nice work as always Padman :)
-
Thanks rbz :)

Ok, then some computers are just fooked up and some are not. Period. ;D

Works fine here Padman :)
You have a knack for putting together really nice oldschoolish looking things.
I like the fireworks too.
-
Thx mate! :)

Let's put it this way, I just can't do newschool stuff. I tried. It always looks plain crap. :D

Works fine on Windows 64 bits.
Thanks for credits :$
Nice final destruction effect :)

Hey, that's a good entry! I like the way the bubble particles break. Cool!
-
Thx @ the both of you! Glad you like it! :)
-
Excellent, you didn't go down the interactive road, I think that makes it MUCH more difficult to find inspiration for this compo. And thats one awesome fade out.
-
Thank you! :) And yeah, no kidding, you should see all the stuff that went to the recycle bin before this one came to mind... hehe
-
Very nice done and nice choosen music!
Cool effect when exit the intro! Thumbs up!
-
Thanks dude! :)
-
Really nice padman. And yes, that exit animation is damn sweet :)

Thanks Raizor! :)

Love it. As Shocky said - this has true oldschool spirit. Well done!
