Now, that I am "in the time" I can talk a bit.

Usually, I am developping under GNU/Linux, but I have bring you this port naturally :)
I have done the compilation in something like one 1 hour for Windows. My problem was using D and so ... no toolchain ready.
The "music" is done in 5 minutes (really) in audacity. I wanted the space part a bit more musical ... but I didn't had the time :(

I am not proud of this production. No thanks for all my friends here (and this is really lame). No beautiful destruction effect.
I don't have any excuses it's just my fault.

So, here I wanted to talk a bit about it. I would like to thanks all the nice mates who produce an entry for this Destruction compo, and all the friends on DBF.

The demo needs OpenGL 2.0 minimum ... normally everybody has this now :)
It's using D, and I was learning about it -> Linux does not want to use SDL_mixer ... :D what a crap (oh I found the answer, but no time to apply it because I had to do the windows port). I have to say ... it was a real rush.

So I didn't told you, but I was trapped by the was evolution of Derelict (Derelict is a port of OpenGL / SDL and other good API for D). We are using the trunk ... and between last month and this month they changed some little things. So when I take the today version for Windows port ... it crashed my App \ o / (Wouhou lot of fun :p)

What else ... no seriously ... really sorry about that ... it is pure destruction (of myself :p).

Hope to see new competion (I have kind of missed every competition around ... shame on me)

It's also some crap OpenGL (a big mix of OpenGL 1.0 and 2.0 for shader )

And I have added a video :) (without sound ... because ... I have crap software ...)

First of I like the window title saying "Rotating Cube", which it definately isn't.  :D But the good news is, it's working! And it sure got potential, but needs some more fine tuning. But you said so yourself, so that's no news.  ;)

The transitions were a bit rough, but the individual effects are nice!

That's not crappy - it's arthouse style ;)

At first I thought "This looks possible in YABASIC", but then when I saw the planet glowing, I realised it couldn't be done very easily in YABASIC.
