This was really well done.
The effect was awesome and I liked the user interaction you've coded in there.
Great speed for software too. I don't think it was the least bit slow.
For some reason or other I was reminded of the Back to the Future font on the cover of the movie.
Also it reminded me of the Vectrex platformer Spike.

Thanks mate, I am a little worried that it may glitch a bit on some systems so I'm glad it ran smooth for you.
-
Smooooooooooooooth shit :) Nice entry!
-
Rocks :carrot:
Love the original, Love your version!
I had some minor glitches, too. But they are really minor indeed.
Well done!
-
Very nice indeed and an extra star for the cursor bashing option. ;) I'm a little bit dizzy now reading the scroll (thanks for the greets!), but it runs really smooth here too. Well done!

Yummy glowy stuff! Nice and simple, I like it!

Great Stuff and It Ran so smooth on my system. ;)
-
Really nice ... I'd love to have some colours variation ... but the glow is really a killing effect :)
Nice one :)
No speed issues (but I am running in windowed mode)
Note: Left clicking will quit the app ... (I got trapped twice ... :D)
Really nice (Thanks for the cursor controls :) )
-
Nice that it's working smoothly on your systems and thanks for the nice comments :) I really thought I had gone overboard with the glow.
-
Really good job on the finished version mate its just so right with the TUNE.... :updance:
-
That was a cool scroller - I'm going to struggle to make a better scroller in my next entry. The level of glow was just right, though I sometimes found it hard to read the letters by shape. It runs smooth and fast here.
-
Thanks guys :)

glad you enjoyed it :)
thumb-up for the 1990 nostalgic Paranoimia tribute! ;)
AMIGAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ;)

Very cool Shockwave! Runs nicely here too. Really like the vortex thingy that the text comes out of. Nice choice of colours too. I think the glow effect really works well, certainly not too over the top imho :)

Really nice Shockwave, but could I be so rude as to ask what language it is written in please.
-
I'll be rude and answer for Shockwave (hope he don't mind - well too late now anyways ;)): Freebasic.
Btw K+ for the source Shockie!
-
Cheers Padman, I am sure Shockwave wont mind now of to look at FreeBasic as it looks very similar to what I am used to Thanks.

:)
It's different to Bmax - this is written with a frame buffer library so where you have commands to do things in Blitz like draw sprites and geometary, you have to write all your own gfx routines.
It's quite rewarding though and gives you a great deal of control of how things look.
