I just bought them today and I am unimpressed with it.
I think it seem that it doesnt work on window 7 :(
The instructions of it was bloody awful!
The setup is easy but I been trying to get Sound out of the Sound speaker !!!
:telloff:

Erm, I don't see why an external loudspeaker system shouldn't work with Windows 7? Are you sure that you haven't accidently muted the sound output somewhere in the soundcard's mixer settings?
-
Plug a headphone into the green jack of your soundcard/mainboard. Do you hear any sound?
-
What I will do is Post some screenshot for you see :)

It seem to me that I need to download Realtek Audio Driver for Acer 6935 Window 7 as I got to make sure that I get the right one!
-
Excuse my ignorance, but why do you need drivers for a 2.1 system anyway? You plug the subwoofer/amplifier into the sound output of your computer and connect the 2 loudspeakers to the subwoofer. And you should be ready to go. Or am I missing something here?

It should work but it doesn't as I seem to think that it doesn't work on window 7 as it will work on win xp and vista

I cant hear on headphone because I am deaf :(
The reason why I bought it because my Acer laptop got low sound quaity even I put full Voulme up hence why I thought that Logitech LS21 sound system will help me to hear the sound better! My mate got sony laptop which better Sound Quaity and I can tell the different!

Why is NVIDIA HDMI OUTPUT isn't plug in when Device manager saying it is ok?
-
HDMI output means that the sound is sent via the HDMI cable, when you connect your Laptop to a TV for example. I doubt that you have any HDMI cable connected to your PC, so that's why it says not plugged in. I'd say, that has nothing to do with your problem.
Anyway, did you ever plug any external speakers to your computer and got sound? Or is this the first time.
Btw it shows some sort of VU bars next to the speakers section in your Sound window? What happens when you play music? Does something move there?

THANKS HEAVEAN PC!
Thank you for all the help :)

Ok, that's the first speakers I ever saw (ok, maybe I haven't seen many, I still use stoneold Altec Lansing desktop speakers from a Gateway2000 PC, great sound btw ;)) that need new drivers to work. Anyway, cool that you finally got it working! :)

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
So you just need more volume to hear something?
Why is it easier for you to listen with speakers instead of phones? (I'd have expected the opposite)
because my Acer laptop got low sound quaity even I put full Voulme up
Especially when raising the volume a bit, all those cheapo-speakers (and probably also the amps) start to distort awfully.
I don't really expect the Logitechs to do particularly much volume either, though.

I'd guess that it's a Vibration thing for enjoying sound.
What's your OS? if it's Windows 7 read on, otherwize not sure.
I found that with some logitech products, that there aren't any Windows7 drivers, as they claim that W7 isn't a fully recognized operating system, apparently it's still in beta / testing stages. A bit wierd as they are highly well known in the computer trade.
I got drivers by using Windows Update ( If i remember change the setting to recieve updates for Windows and other products ) It's how I managed to get my logitech Webcam to work. As on Logitech site they support as far as Vista.

What's your OS?
Window 7 Ultimate :)
