Thanks all, it's a bit rough round the edges, but good for todays purpose. :)

I'm going to try and make a fun educationalish music game out of it, compatible with an external piano keyboard. Haven't actually looked into the how exactly, but I know it's possible for Flash to communicate with external ports. Tips on that welcome!

Also looking forward to try me some, probably horrible, random music composition. I found an interesting looking book on the subject as well, so it won't be for lack of trying. It should be an excellent read after Godel Escher Bach too (which I raved about some time ago) as I was surprised to learn the books even reference eachother while I found this book through a wholly unrelated route!

@Raizor
Awesome! My first plan was to use the main theme song, but it would've been hell to write the score.  I'll see you though and raise you +5 nerdiness!  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1O2jcfOylU) ;D

@ Shockwave
Rox dude, that shivers me timbers!
:cheers:

No, the pirate bay has a cassette tape instead of a skull. Would've been a cool detail though!  ;)

Arg, that be a great demo.

It reminds me of the time I sailed the seven c-sharps.
