First of all, thanks once again to everyone who supported the last competition.
Comps on here need five key things to succeed:
- An open theme that most people can attempt regardless of their experience.
- A good set of rules with a realistic deadline.
- Creative people to support the challenge with their productions.
- People who will download all the entries and vote fairly.
- A prize giving rituel (whether it's cash or karma).
Luckily we have all these things in place here but the most difficult thing is getting the right theme. Usually, I pick up to 3 themes and select one at random at the last minute.. The really good news is that the next one has already been chosen!
It will be announced some time during the next month, just to whet your appetite I strongly believe that this is the most accessible and equalizing theme we will have ever had at DBF.. No clues yet as to what it is going to be as it requires an amended rule set!
