Title: Art Engine 2012 demo
Post by: Rbz on February 16, 2012
Here is something I made for Art Engine 2012. (http://www.artengine.com.br/en/main/)

It was done during party stream, so don't expect too much ;)

Music done by Ampli.

I saw this earlier on Pouet rbz, nice :)

Is that your soft-synth providing the music?

looks good. I like the texture mapping on the cube with the reflections, gives it depth of surface. nice one.

Nice one, well done.

Music reminded me of Turrican or something.

On my crappy netbook thing it crashes straight away on fullscreen, runs on windowed but is bigger than the screen so edges are missing (not complaining btw, just letting you know)

What's the mapping on the cube?

Thanks!

Nope, it's a small .xm song that Ampli did sometime ago.
But I did an executable music for music compo using my 4k synth, you can download it from here. (http://www.scene.org/file.php?file=%2Fparties%2F2012%2Fartengine12%2Fmusic%2Fexecutable_music.zip&fileinfo)

Screen resolution is 1280x720, maybe your netbook doesn't support it?
Unfortunately I didn't have time to add proper screen res dialog.

The cube effect is done by a bumpmap+specular light shader, and also there's DOF effect applied to it.

Nice one mate, great that it supports ATI cards too!
