Here's my second entry - hopefully it will reverse the trend, and be better than my first entry (as my second entries are usually rushed).
It's based on several Yabasic tutorials.

Wow, really awesome 2nd entry!
Really cool effects and it runs really smooth here on my laptop! Some original Combatational King Kongalateral cubocahedronal factoids make it complete!
Excellent work! :)

Very cool entry! Well done!
-
Thanks guys.
Hopefully this will prove to the nay-sayers on the internet that Flash (before Adobe got their hands on it) can't do 3D - just not some of the more advanced bits like texture mapping. I may be 5 years too late with that argument though.
Still, I feel I have taken 3D in Flash 8 about as far as it can be taken. I'll try for a light-sourced sphere just for fun before seeing what VB.net can do.
All the best in the contest - I'll sit back and see what everyone else will make, while I convert this into Yabasic.

Nice One CK0!!

Coool second entry!

Great  and again ... cool syncing!
-
I really like this CK, very nice work. Cool to see some groovy 3d in flash too :)
-
Very cool!
The tune and colors are very cheery feeling.
I like that about it.
-
nice one!

Thanks everyone. I'm looking into Quaternations - if I can figure out how to use them, I may use them in a third entry (if I get time).
-
Extra respect for doing this in Flash.
-
I like how the wireframe with the flat cube makes it look clean enough.
-
The lightsourcing doesn't work very well. One day I'll master it, but for now the outlines should help.
-
Man! I loved the tune! Gratz! :)
-
Nice cartoon cubes there, they move well with the music which is also a nice choice.
Sorry for my ignorance but is it tough to get Flash to do fast 3D?
This seemed to run really well here.
-
Many people say it's difficult, but it's no harder than coding 3D in Yabasic, as the available drawing features are similar.
-
Cool prod and very nice music :)

Nice Cube Demo
