Post by: Hotshot on June 05, 2012
It is one of the Poorest E3 so far and I guess Sony and Mircosoft will be showing their Next Gen Console Next year!

There two things that does impress me which are

The Last of Us (PS 3)

Next GEN Game

Watch Dog (GTA Clones, The rain effect look quite good)

Starwars 1313 (The smoke effect look good but could be better when fade out!)

The Last Guardian was suppose to making it for PS 3 and decide to hold it back and make for PS 4 instead!

I hope the gameplay can keep up with the graphics. I still haven't found an excuse to buy a PS3 (except maybe Twisted Metal, which looks really great and, if it plays like its predecessors, should be loads of fun).

If the PS4 is backwardly compatible with PS3 games, I'll make the investment in the hardware, and buy up the cheap software.

Stars Wars 1313:

UPDATE: Our man on the ground, Michael Gapper, has just sent through more detailed impressions: "Game was undeniably next gen, and was produced in cooperation with Nvidia. It was running on a PC with a 360 controller, and looked like Uncharted running in the Star Wars universe, but with facial animation, lighting, and physics well in advance of anything on current gen platforms. The facial animation alone is incredible."

Also, Mike adds: "LucasArts said the game was in 'pre production'. They didn't even use the word 'alpha', so it's very, very early. There's no way it could run on current gen hardware, but even if it could, I'd guess it'll be out after November 2013 - in other words, after the next gen consoles launch."

It's beginning to feel like Duke Nukem Forever at this stage. I don't have any current gen console but I'll happily buy one for BG&E2 if it ever comes out.

All I say is WOW and the man with Beard make me think I was like watching the flim but it all computer graphics!

It maybe Demo tech and making game is another things

I wonder what the PC Spec was running for this Demo.....and it possible could have 12 core CPU, 8GB and 2 Graphics cards running on that demo!

I recently discovered this trailer for watchdogs, I love the concise manner in wich it explans the dangers of data collection. It's scarily close to current affairs; Ubisoft mentioned they will only include hacks that have been demonstrated to work in RL. I think it's really great to see a game centered on this. Hopefully it will educate future generations on the importance of privacy as people today seem completely ignorant of this.
