Title: how do you tell if Facebook source code is filtering you out?

Or blocking "private material"?

Sorry, but i didn't understood your question. And i guess no matter what is your question, facebook's source code is private for the staff, and the page itself is in PHP, so there is no way to know the source code without hacking facebook's server or stealing it yourself.

Please do not tell me you are a 10 years old kid trying to hack facebook with notepad, those things are general noways! Sorry for anything, please explain your question better! Thank you!

And i don't think this is the right forum for this kind of question, but whatever...

I don't understand the question either... I'm not much of a fan of Facebook though and I'm deeply suspicious of them - Maybe it's their practice of resetting your privacy settings when they have an "upgrade" or new feature that makes me feel that way.

I use Zero Encrypter (http://zero.barcodebattler.co.uk/Ver2.htm)

(The magic word for this message is "modes").
Actually why posting in facebook if you don't want people to read? Do it like me: Delete facebook, problems solved xD

I feel Facebook destroys the romance and power of the anonymous old web...  :'(

Their questionable tactics and software to gain insight into you and your social life scares me. Groups with an interest in that kind of data are having a field day!

Anybody who knows the coding system can access it, whether they have a facebook account or not (since the coded message is public) - it's free message hosting. The rest of the world will either ignore the apparent nonsense, or mess their minds up trying to decode it.

I Can't imagine their pain trying to do it, but i still think such thing is unnecessary ;D

If i would have to send a extreme secret and private message, i would:
Make a TXT file with the message inside, encrypt the TXT file with TrueCrypt, put the encripted TXT file inside a RAR with a password, encrypt RAR file agan with TrueCrypt, invert each byte position with this formula:

1 2 3 4 5 6 to 1 6 2 5 3 4 * repeat until EOF *

for each 10 bytes add a random value byte, repeat the 1 2 3 4 5 6 to 1 6 2 5 3 4 method.

Now i want to see someone trying to get the file... I Think i should write my own encryption tool, this is getting interesting...  ;D

That's a lot of steps. Secure though.

FB, Google, Bing, Yahoo... everything is watching you. Having or not a social profile will not be the solution coz majority of the well known sites are connected each other. They know what you like or not, just with the link you are clicking or comment you are posting.
You're not putting a pic of you? Someone will do it and put your name on. You're not speaking about your feelings? Someone will speak about it on its profile...  :boxer:

The problem is just... actual Internet : more commercial and less "informational"...

It's a conspiracy my friend, to the big companies, we are just data: name, age, likes and dislikes.
