On FEB 20th 11PM and it going show Killzone 4 and Racing game on PS 4 Hardware!

It gonna be Amazing with all Direct X 11 Graphics! ;D

The games that will be Coming out will be

UnCharted 4
Killzone 4
GT 6
God Of War (whatever versions are)
FIFA 14
Madden 14
Star wars 1313(it is current gen or next gen? who know!)

Would Gateway 3 come on PS 4? I do really hope that PS 4 have 8 GB Ram which is future proof staying ahead of pc games for while :)

Direct X on a Sony console? I guess backwards compatibility is out of the question.

That's what I liked about the PS2. I don't expect the PS4 to have PS or PS2 compatibility, but if it has PS3 compatibility, then I'll be able to justify the space it takes up next to my TV.

8GB of RAM sounds like plenty. If the graphics can avoid "uncanny valley", there should be room for some very realistic graphics.

Ever since the dawn of downloadable games, backwards compatibility is dead, as are pre-owned games unfortunatly.  :(

Looking forward to see all next gen controllers especially, will they go all out with full body sensors & probes, or back to good ole finger twiddling finesse?

I'll be buying one for sure. :)

I recently bought a xbox360 and I'm amazed with it's games, I'm amazed mostly because I wasn't playing anything since a long loooong time, so everything is new for me.
I can't wait to see what this new console generation will bring up.

I've had a very similar experience recently, I haven't been following games as closely as I once did. But I recently downloaded Mafia (game from 2002) and AS3 (from 2012). It's a really interesting comparison.

Mafia looks good, but obviously AS3 looks muuuuch better. It's pushing many more poly's, better lighting, shadows etc but it also runs much more smoothly then Mafia does. It's really cool to see just how much we have learned to optimise software as well.

I also regularly see real-time things in games which weren't even possible in 3d software yet when I started working with it. Man, technology makes me feel old sometimes...

My feeling was more likely that I was from the past. :)

Do you mean AC3 (Assassin Creed's 3)?
I just ordered it this week, can't wait  to see what is all about.

Ah yes, I mean Assasins Creed 3. I came upon a bit of a jaded article today about how much AC3 sucked and why, but I couldn't dissagree more. It's really a marvel of technology IMO, hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did! :)
