Imagine if we were able to link our minds in this way what we'd find out about ourselves and what problems we'd solve!

I'm writing a series of novels set in the 23rd century - this is one of the issues raised later on in the series, but with humans instead of rats.

I reckon we'll have this technology in consumer hands well before the 23rd century though.
