- Simplex noise
- Curl noise
- Particles
- FXAA
- Bloom

can i ask roughly what techniques you used too make the flying fairy type things there probably my favorite part that i wouldn't mind having a go at.

I like the hexagonal one - looks like a giants causeway sort of thing, which is one of my ideas on the back burner.

It's two particles fields that gets their position from 3 (x,y,z) 2d perlin noise evaluations. One axis on the 2d fields is time that is changed to the beat of the music. The created particles then have their position changes by a curl noise field. Lastly bloom and streaks are applied onto. I would say that the bloom is the most important for the scene.

ironic thing is, it was written by some M$ devs from the office team in their spare time...
M$ had something cool with windows media centre, but as always did a half assed job and never saw the thing through
the tagging i did to my mp3s to work with WMC ended up helping when i got my first iphone and became tied to itunes more
