I hope everyone who entered this comp have learned something new, being it in coding - graphics - music, which is exactly the purpose of those competitions/challenges!

It truly was a  great display of technical skills and sense of design on all entries..

congratulations rbz and Raizor!! well deserved first and second guys  :cheers:

from my own personal perspective i need too have a little think about what does it for folks... maybe keep the electronics stuff for a different board and let my code do the talking.

Thanks to all for voting and entering this compo.

I'm going to update trophies and karma for everyone.

And since I'm compo organizer I can't take Nikin prize, so I think the fair option is to give it to Punqtured, who managed to be in the first and second place. :)

hmm.. bytheway i actually got votes  :kewl: 3 even. Wonder how come?  :)

I hope we will have more compos this year.  What do you think? A quarterly schedule maybe? Would we be able to produce 4 intros a year? :)

I'm terribly honored by the nice gesture by rbz - who did all the hard work for the winning prod. And since I already won 1st prize at TRSAC with that song, I'd much rather the prize to be donated to the community in general. There's usually some domain/hosting expenses to cover, and I think it'd only be fair to the other entrants, who really did an amazing job (and I agree with the hardware/diode prod-comment!!) that the prize can be shared somehow.

Now, if one day - the entire dbf-forum actually met up at some demoparty, we could spend it all on booze and hookers, but since that's unlikely to happen, donating to the community is my second choice :)

I really hope it's possible to do this, somehow.

Cheers, and once again thank you very much for all the fantastic entries, that really added to the christmas-mood this year. And a very happy new year, too!

Well done everyone! Another great compo with some really nice entries. Congrats on a well deserved first place rbz :) and well done ninogenio too. It's always cool to see so many different platforms and technologies used for these compos. Sourcing decent tunes can be a real hassle sometimes, so it's great to see (and hear) Punqtured's tunes being used :)

For all the hundreds of lines of code, I didn't put much effort into graphical style. The end result was that my entry looked like a Flash demo, but I learned a bit about using PHP to influence JavaScript which is something I plan to do more of.

Your entry, Nino, was bursting with effort. You even went so far as to build the hardware. That's dedication!

If you have a little look on the first page emook, in each of rbz's posts there is a link (the little star with topic written next too it) too each comp entry. From there all attachments are as usual, at the bottom of the post. with mine though its just a video and some code.. i am sure you will have some good fun going through them all  :cheers:

emook, there's also a list of past compos and entries (with links) in this thread (http://www.dbfinteractive.com/forum/index.php?topic=5140.20). The Xmas compo entries haven't been added yet though. I'll try and get that sorted tonight :)
