Title: [Symmetry_2014] MirrororriM
Post by: combatking0 on April 19, 2014
I've crammed this entry with 5 different effects - there's no scroller, but I couldn't find a way to make it look readable.

Anyway, please enjoy MirrororriM:

The music is called "Stickerbrush Symphony" and was composed by David Wise for Donkey Kong Country 2.

Wonderful! I notice the pics jiggle a little bit when rotating, I think it's rounding errors that cause this. Not sure if this is the same issue but I came across a possible solution for this while looking up something else: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18749700/canvas-rotated-text-artifacts/18749978#18749978

Anyway, good stuff!

My understanding on the avatars jerking about relates to the simplistic collision detection. For some reason the overlaps are being detected too late and the positions are being reset in a way that's far too obvious, though your link makes for excellent reading and will definitely help me to resolve similar issues in future.

Thanks everyone :)

Nice to use the avatars and I also really like the transitions between the effects - I know that they are fades but it still feels like a nicely finished entry because of it.
