Title: D-Bug menu 188 v2 Remake
Post by: KrazyK on August 17, 2014
Another D-Bug menu gets a remake.  Nice, font  and music and some extremely wibbly wobbly scrolltexts.
I've been ripping Xenon2 to bits and I've made a new selector for this menu and I think I'll keep using this one from now on.  8)
Press space to to through to the main menu after the initial text intro on this remake.

hehe, that's not as easy as it appear as the sid replay library doesn't read the channels unlike Slippys' OSME replay library.  I remember converting this sid file to a midi file but it lost some of the notes.
I also dumped the sid file to an output text file with all the channel data but couldn't get the timing right.  I might have another crack at it though when i plug my brain in again.

It hangs for me after the credits intro screen on win64.  :(

@Kirl
Try this one, I've modified the main scrolltext code so it doesn't use as much memory. I can also change the smaller yellow scroller if it still doesn't work for you.

Same thing again, now the music didn't play after choosing the window size. It still crashes after the credit screen is done.

Happy bug hunting, don't we all love it. ;)

Yep, bugs are great.  No two computers are the same.  Try again here.  Ive moved some graphics initialization around as i used to get some odd results when the music was already playing and I tried to grab some more sprites and it would bomb out.  That hasn't happened with the latest version of PB though. So i've initialized all the graphics before playing the music now to see what happens on your machine.
