This is tough one for me....
1) SWOS (Sensible World of Soccer)
2) Resident Evil 2 ( It should be Resident evil 4 but it is very hard as I keep getting Kill by Sackman with chain every time!)
3) Turrican 2
4) Banshee AGA
5) Street of Rage 2
6) Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
7) Alien Breed 2
8) Super car 2
9) Desert Strike
10) Command & Conquer Generals
there some of games that would be worth in my top 10 lists but I couldnt fit them in which are Last Ninja 2, Monkey island,Lemmings,F1 Grand prix, Moonstone,Pinball Fantasies , Project X, Rick Dangerious, R-type, Uridium 2, Xenon 2, Champ manager 01/02 and of course there some great Sega megadrive/Snes/Neo geo/Pc Engine GT/Dreamcast/playstation 1 or 2 games that I like as well but for game that caught my eyes was SWOS when I saw in the shop...I rushed to buy it and went straight home to play that game ....boy it blew it me away as I took Barnsley to win Premier league, League cup, FA Cup and European Cup! It was great fun.
Resident Evil 2 had the best Story of game when I play from start to finished....it was Pure Class!
Turrican 2 on Humble C64( yes just 64K !) which I play from start to finished game off and I have to say it was like Pure Arcade machine at the time!

There are lots of games that I have loved for onre reason or another, but strangely two of my most favourites were N64 games. Bearing in mind that I don't really play games a lot, these two games really kept me captivated until I'd finished them both.
N64 : Zelda The Ocarina of time is my all time favourite and I kept playing until I even completed it with all the potion jars :)
N64 : Goldeneye. I finished it on all difficulty settings, including the hidden levels that only appear at the end and I still played it after that on multiplayer with friends all the time. I gave my N64 away, if I still had it I would still be playing these perfect games.
In the past, lots of stuff made a huge mark. On the Spectrum it was Tetris and R-Type. Take your pick of Jeff Minters stuff on the C64, Also Elite was very cool too. On the Amiga, definately SWOS and F18 interceptor, PS1 would have been command and conquer and definately Xcom enemy unknown, PS2 had to be Yabasic :P Nothing could ever even come remotely close to those two fantastic N64 games for me though.

My favourite computer game of all time is Creatures on C64.
And the best ever arcade series in my opinion is Metal Slug.

Star Wars in the arcades...I even bought one once with the sit in cabinet and all, but I broke it. I used the "force" too much I reckon.

I love games, cant get enough of them!
I find it hard to put them in an order so they are in order that I remember to be my favaroute games over the years.
On my Desktop
EVE Online - MMORPG (Played this for over a year and a half)
Wolfenstein Enemy Territory - Free FPS, a spinoff of Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Play this all the time)
Planetside - MMOFPS (Occasionally play this)
Total Annihilation - Strategy, (a new version is on the horizon \o/ yey)
Track Mania Nations - Free online racing game that lets you create custom map (bit bored of it now)
Golden oldies
Red Alert Yuris Revenge - Strategy
Zelda 64 Ocarina of time - Pure Genius, totally revolutionary game for the 64 imho
Mario Cart 64 - Considering the theme it is one of the most fun racing games I have ever played
Golden Eye 64 - Played this a lot with my mate from college, and drank lots of stella :D
Paperboy - c64
Risk - There is a PC version :D, still play the board game too
Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis - Oldschool pc game, awesome

Poker Online - Only play money though

I also love the game "Hawkeye" on the C64, by the Boyz Without Brains. Remarkable work and exceptional game; allthough rather tricky.

I'm gonna be really sad and add Tomb Raider 1. I've played it to completion 4 times. Its not *just* the tits. Making her go "oof" at every corner appeals to me too. Why doesnt Ms Jolie do that in the film?
I'll be really really sad and brag now. I used to live in Bristol (no that isnt bragging) and I knew a girl there Francis very well, only to discover her brother was the artist who designed Lara Croft who based her on Francis. So yeah, Lara Croft was one of my best friends in back then. Before you ask, yes she looked like her, she was adventurous (always windsurfing or skiing down mountains) but no her tits were very small, which was a constant source of amusement for everyone, especially her. Great gal.
I do not tell this story to my wife often. ... now back to the topic...

Pinball Fantasies on the Amiga.
Jak & Daxter on the PS2.
Loco Roco on the PSP.
Lumines on the PSP.

Shadow Run (Sega) - Best RPG ever, I love the real time combad, and jacking into the Matrix!
Ridge Racer 1 (psx) and (n64) - Fast action, focus on fun gameplay, and not realism.
Rage Racer (psx) - Adds rpg'ish elements to Ridge Racer.
Gran Turismo 2(psx) - Lets you race with a 92 Civic, cant beat that!
Bloody Roar (psx)(n64) - Fast and brutal fighting action!
Tobal no1 (psx) - Great figthing game.
Wipeout (psx) - Its like playing a demo.
Wipeout 3 (psx) - More tunnel racing demo'ish action!
Bio Freaks(psx)(n64) - Best character, and fighting arena design ever.
Doom 3 (pc) - Best FPS ever, Carmack is my hero!
Unreal Tournament 2004 (pc) - Is this the best Multiplayer FPS ever? No, its a tie. Nothing will take q3a from the throne.
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (pc) - Best adventure imho.
Quake 3 Arena(pc) - Aaaah! The good ol' days.
Those are my ABSOLUTE fav's! A few honerable mentions are in order though.

Need For Speed Underground on PS2 is a real neat game.
Keep getting stuck on the Drag racing parts.

Yucko! NFSU isnt my type of game at all. I love racing to deth, I even do Autocross with my car in real life, but the attitude behind street racing is really negative. But I do have to give NFSU credit for the graphics, good stuff there!

The sound effects were done by Charles Deenan of Mainiacs Of Noise fame. That's what he does for a living now for Electronic Arts.
International Karate Plus was another of my favourites from Archer Maclean.

NFSU (1 and 2).... Sortof sucks really.... I can't get into the always night, wet looking roads, the blured graphics at hight speeds.... I've been up to like 90-100mph before (IRL), things go by faster, but they don't get all blurry like the game shows it.... Plus, I use a steering wheel on my PS2, and it doesn't stay in line, and the drag races totaly get messed up by that track/rail effect..
As for my faves:
Gran Turismo 2-4 (Never got 1)
And that's it really, I don't play much of anything else.... ::)

Which version of International Karate? I think the C64 version was stunning. I met Archer Maclean last year at The Retro Gaming Show in London, what a cool bloke, spoke to me for quite a while until his wife/girlfriend tore him away!! lol!!

extra info: On the GBA, the same team behind Creatures, Retrograde, Mayhem In Monsterland produced IK Deluxe. But under a different team name than Apex as they were known on the C64.

yeah I used to play TEKKEN 3 and also doom( on PC) which was great at time.
Metal slugs...I used play that load on arcade =)

Well how sad is it that I have a PS1, PS2, and a PSP and I don't really care for any of them. I am not much into video games. I think I am too impatient and can control it enough. LOL. I do love the first Legends of Zelda. I played the shit out of that game! ;D
I like old school Mario and of course Tetris. Boring I know, but it gives you something to do when you are doing other things. I have a lot fo other games for the other systems, but never get around to playing them. OH well.

The better the hardware got the more I tend to like games with good graphics
creating a nice atmosphere, like (Amiga) :

- Defender of the Crown
- Relentless
...
But well, there are far too many games I liked to play to add here ...

Well obviously I don't play enough because I rented Madegascar for my brother's daughter (who is 6) for the PS2 and how do I say this..... I SUCK! She did a lot better then I did. I just don't have time to 'hone' my skills. I got skills elsewhere! Who needs video games. ;)
