Title: music disk engine
Post by: xteraco on September 21, 2006
wow, its been a long time sinse i posted here! incredible...  well, i've gone and coded a rather nice music-disk engine... it basically plays any music files that are in the same dir as it, and opens as an openGL window :) pretty cool eh? you could just use it as an audio player if you wanted...   more features to come, such as

-interface (with typical interface features)
-beat sync (for effects)
-no windows gui bar (only custom gui)
-no attached dll's

attached is the engine/player, ifyou need audio, download some of my songs, and put em in the same folder to test it out :)

Very nice. Seems to work well on my Win2K box.

Ah that's a shame, it won't work here. :( It shows a white zooming logo and then crashes.

it'll do that if you put it in a folder that has no music in it, or music files its not compatible with, its compat with

-xm
-mp3
-ogg

next version will be compatible with the above mentioned, plus, it, s3m, mod, and wav
