Title: State of Confusion remake
Post by: KrazyK on December 01, 2021
Here's a remake i've wanting to do for a while now but was afraid to start it as there was too much going on.
It's from the Just Buggin' demo by ACF on the ST and was brilliant for the time.
It has the following:

20 frame walking guy animation.
1 32x32 rastered and sine distorted scrolltext.
9 vertical 32x32 rastered scrolltexts .
9 horizontal rastered 16x16 sine distorted scrolltexts.
10 flying sprites on a sine path.
1 huge 256x256 central scrolltext.
1 swinging sine logo.
1 sine distorted ACF logo.
2 spinning triangles.
And a great tune by Tao

It took me a while to remake this one , but after lots of ripping sine tables, ripping and rebuilding the fonts and colours etc it's finally done!

I may post the source if I can understand my code!

[Edit]
Noticed a stray 'G' in the big scrolltext that shouldn't have been there.  Mus have slipped on the keyboard.  Fixed now.

Wow, all hell is going on on the screen. A really great demo, hard to believe that it ran like that on the Atari ST.
Unfortunately I didn't see the demo during my ST times. For me one of the best ST demos ever seen.

The sound is amazing too.  :updance:

Brilliant remake KrazyK.

Thanks for that - awesome work.
