WELCOME TO THE COOL CREATIONS COMPETITION[/color]
It's about time that we had another competition and we know that a lot of you have been waiting patiently for this one!! This competition is a themed competition and the idea behind it is to get you to submit some brand new code in quite a short deadline!
There are the usual forum related bonus prizes on offer (see prize list) and in addition to this, there are also 3 cash prizes up for grabs as long as you fulfil certain criterea.

This competition is open to our friends only. There are some people around who don't support us and we will not support those people so three communities have been selected carefully. Provided you were a member of Any combination of the following communities;

Before 15th Of October 2006 you may enter.
If you have ever had your account banned from any of those three communities, you may not enter. To prevent you from submitting code through another member of your group, if your account was banned, it excludes the rest of your group from entering the competition also.
If your account is banned from any of the three communities during the competition, you will be disqualifed. Good conduct on the communities is essential if you want to participate in our challenges.. Attempts to get around these exclusion rules will result in disqualification at our discretion.

Cool Creations Online Demo Party
In the name of Demo creation and all round good fun and entertainment this new feature is kindly sponsored and offered exclusively by DBF / GVY Demo Code Forums :)
And we welcome you all aboard the all new "Cool Creations Online Demo Party" & please remember have FUN!
In the name of simplicity, there are 3 different categories
- Tiny  ( Less than 4kb MAY CONTAIN ONE OR MORE SEPERATE PARTS)
- Intro  ( Between 4kb - 250kb MAY CONTAIN ONE OR MORE SEPERATE PARTS)
- Demo ( 250 kb+ MUST CONTAIN MORE THAN ONE PART)
Development Hours
Demo Party will commence and open it's doors on 17th of October 2006! You may submit your demo in it's own topic in the community projects forum of the dbf/gvy message board any time between then and before midnight 31st October 2006.
This means that you have two weeks!!
General Rules
- Any language is allowed but your demo MUST run on the PC, other platforms are not allowed.
- If any entries are tied for 1st, 2nd, 3rd..10th rankings; then prizes will be split at the discretion of the admin team.
- Code must be original and anything not suiting the theme of the competition will be disqualified.
- Source code need not be supplied or submitted. Fully working packed entries utterly acceptable. But feel free to include source if you like.
- If using Ripped Music / Graphics, then please make sure you get permission to use them first or at least credit the creator.
- Any external libraries must be supplied with submission, and in either Zip Or Rar format. You may utilize the attachment facility at this site, or submit a download link. No direct linking please. Entries that do not run will because of missing media/libs will be disqualified.
- Please ensure any material before being submitted is checked with a reputable virus checker.
- The winner will be decided by poll. A poll will be opened on 1st of November 2006, you will all be able to cast three votes in that poll. The poll will run for exactly one week, there will be plenty of time to vote!
- Entries that use uncredited ripped graphics/music will be disqualified. Previously released intros/demos are not allowed, this must be freshly coded.
- Members of DBF/GVY May enter, this is because the winner will be decided by the forum members. Because I am providing the cash prize I (Shockwave) will not be entering the competition.
- You can enter as many times as you like, but will only be eligible for one prize.
What's Up For Grabs?
1ST Prize:- Custom Winners Graphic, ++10 Karma ++1000 Posts, £50 GBP.
2ND Prize:- Custom Winners Graphic, ++5 Karma ++500 Posts, £30 GBP.
3RD Prize:- Custom Winners Graphic, ++5 Karma ++250 Posts, £20 GBP.
All entrants get ++2 Karma ++50 Posts.
Cash prizes will be paid by PAYPAL ONLY, If you do not have a paypal account to accept payment BEFORE November 30th, you will NOT receive your cash prize if you win one, so please make sure that you have that in place if you want the dosh!
