Pumpkin Productions proudly presents Halls of Halloween a tiny intro for the Cool Creations Competition.
Let the spirit of Halloween lead you through witches temples! But beware, dont let him touch you!
BEST TO WATCH IN THE DARK!!!
I hope you all like it but if it doesnt run for you, i'll load some pictures too.
Unnecessary info:
A 4k intro using music with permission in my own soft synth.
Uses curved surfaces and texture generation system.
NO SHADERS *but* it needs a good graphics card.
Credits: code, design etc taj
Music: ampli
Warnings: Needs good graphics card *and* will spend some time (maybe a minute) calculating music, textures and geometry before starting.

How cool is that? ;D Nice one Taj, great music too!!!
-
Least I could do after that intro you did:-) good luck with the compo, I hope you get loads of entries. I'm off tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to seeing them when I get back.
-
Terrific work Taj and Ampli.
Have a great time :)
Cheers,
Clyde.

My computer won't play it. It played the music which was really cool.
So my computer offically sucks! Sorry Taj. I was excited to see it.
-
Hmmmm could be a code problem not your PC lil. One thing to try, do a clean reboot and try again. If it still doesnt work then I'll try to do a much safer version for you when I get back.

I'm starting to panic a bit that there ae no more entries :)
-
Very nice taj, the things you can do with shaders in 4K still amazes me... I liked the music too (It was a tad quiet in my system though..)
Overall, excellent job!
(Oh, Nick. I'm working on something. Finally got some ideas. Still have Sunday, Monday, and part of Tuesday to do this!)
-
I'm not even going to try and run that, my computer was put together using shoelaces and bits of cardboard. At least, that's what it's performance suggests!
-
Those are some fine looking screen-shots.
I'll have a look at this tonight.

Hi guys, I managed top get 30 mins internet time... there are no shaders to give everyone maximum chance to run this one. However its a 4k so corners are cut everywhere so you may still have problems but I reckon its worth trying on any graphics card from the last 3 years...
-
Very cool and it runs fine on my machine.
-
Lots of movement, some good effects - I know when I'm beaten!
:whack:

Nice and fast.
