I can totally understand that. If I had the time, I'd do the same
-
Honey Loops? You mean Cherrios?
-
Similar idea, only they don't come in 4 different grains, and are drenched in honey. Also have a ass-hat cartoon bee on the packet
-
Cherrios? I also used to eat them and they are lovely ! O0
-
I'm hooked on Star Bars and Kit Kat Chunkies with Peanut Butter.
Jamie Oliver's gonna kill me if the chocolate doesn't.
-
Jamie Oliver is now a fat bastard, I hope sainsburies drops him
-
Jamie Oliver is not a fat bastard, he's a fat rich bastard.
I wish I could afford to be fat.
I have a couple of apples for breakfast usually with a glass of Orange juice.
-
Breakfast kills me. At 6.30/7 in the morning, I'm just not in the mood. If I have anything at all during the week it's usually just a banana or two.

Wow, I thought that was just a costume.

It was a costume back in august, but now life has immitated 'art' and made him a fat fuck. It now shows pics in the paper of fat-suit jamie and fat-real jamie. It's funny. Not because of the fat, obesity isn't funny, it's funny cause it's jamie oliver, the one who's always bitching about healthy eating and getting rid of the vending machines in schools. Great, now I have to pay extra for a bottle of water because there aren't any more cokes.

Cottage cheese and peaches!

What exactly is a full english?
I don't eat breakfast durring the week , I drink about a halfgallon of coffee :) On the weekends its sausages and eggs.
-
full english breakfast: sausages, bacon, eggs, toast, grilled tomatoes, hash browns (despite them being american) and often brown sauce.
-
hash browns (despite them being american)
They are fried potatoes ! lol we are being bashed for fried potatoes?  that's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. I almost blew Guinness out my nose.

ROTFL
I second that AlienEye. Except mine was ice tea!
-
well, a full english breakfast would imply that it is made of engllish ingredients
-
Sorry, I thought that was a smart alec remark about US foods :) - although We do have eggs, sausages, tomatoes, and bacon here in the states so I guess it's all american eh? - Im sort of afraid to ask what brown sauce is :) (I know- sauce colored brown) But anyway sounds like a really good breakfast, something that would last me all day.
-
I can't really comment about american food, english is more unhealthy. Which makes america's slightly higher obesety rate puzzeling. I mean, you guys don't have fish and chips, deep fried mars bars or the snickers pie, which was voted the unhealthiest food ever. The thing contains 5 snickers bars if I remember correctly. I have yet to try it, as I want to live.

Yes we do slinks!
America's problem is Portion size. The portions here are huge compared to anywhere in Europe. NYC has just started or just did ban transfat throughout the city's restrurants. It will be intersting to see how that works for them.

Incase anyone like me thought transfat was an overweight guy in a dress...

ROTFL
Sorry Taj for the confusion.
Transfats are the leading contributor to Heart Desease in this country. I am not sure how Europe does it, but America requires labels on all food and nutrition information to 'help' us make better choices.
http://www.fda.gov/opacom/backgrounders/foodlabel/newlabel.html
They are also required to list ALL ingrediants on the label in decending order. Meaning the first ingrediant has the highest amount per serving and the last has the lowest.
It is said that if the first 5 ingredants are one or more of these five things.... you should not eat it.
Sugar (white)
Enriched Floor (they have to put minerals back in because they were all lost during processing)
Partially Hydrogenated Oils (a food perservative. They add oxygen to the oil to make the food last long. They body cannot digest it but holds onto it)
Anything ending is rose, dextrose, succrose, etc.
Transfat
:) Does that help? I am up for a nutrition lesson anytime. I have really done a lot of research and educational classes as my father was very sick recently and we almost lost him. so I decided that I needed to be more conscious and take better care of myself and help to educate him to do the same. We spent a couple hours in the grocery store where I taught him about the labels and making better choices. The labels have changed a lot over the past couple of years and there is more info then ever on them. Food Chains are also required to have the information available on all items they serve. My dad is doing better. He is walking for the first time in 4 months!
