Windows Vista

So what do you think of the Windows Vista OS? Personally I've not been too happy with all the new account security features I don't see any improvement over XP. I will admit that I have not read everything there is to know about it however. I could be ignorant of many new and "exciting" features. I don't care for the new search system either, it returns less results than the same function in XP.

But enought of my thoughts what do you think?

I like it, but then I'm odd like that.  I'd recommend waiting for Service Pack 1 to come out, there are some queer things afoot inside Vista that haven't been sorted out yet.
Plus, you need 2Gb of memory to do anything with it.

I have Windows Vista preinstalled on my new Notebook. Fortunately I have 2GB ram in it -
so it runs ok. So far I have no big problems with Windows Vista. But I havent got any pro-
blems with Windows XP either. I use Windows XP on my normal desktop computers.

So far I do not see any big changes between XP and Vista (yeah, it is a bit more polished).
Nevertheless, personally I am not really interesting in the OS. The more I do not have to
touch the OS configuration the more I like it.

I got vista a while ago and I think it's great.

Only few problems I've had are with audio gear and programs.  One of my midi controllers didn't work when I first got vista and my old copy of CuBase doesn't work.

Other than those I haven't had any problems at all.
