I was wondering if anyone else had read this series of books;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_GunslingerThey are not the same as Stephen Kings other novels, these books start off as a kind of Spaghetti Western story and over the course of the books turn into more of a science fiction type of story with vampires, technology, robots and Magic.
They were written over a period that spanned Stephen Kings whole career and apart from one of them (the song of susannah) are all really brilliant books.
The tale is too massive for film adaptation, there are 7 books in the series but I think that they would lend themselves very well to be turned into a computer game. Several types of game genre would lend themselves to this story, maybe something like Diskworld adventures or even Doom style gameplay.
I am really surprised that it has not been done yet.
Also some great ideas in here could be made into a demo, I don't know for sure but I don't think there has ever been a Spaghetti Western demo.
