I like the bat drawing code :-).
Mostly though I like the noise routine which may be smaller than I normally write. Is that random plus blur if I read the code right?

chris:Yup thats exactly how its done, chris. Its even faster if you keep the arraysize to powers of two you can then use "u = (x-1) and 255" if the array is 256 wide, this makes the if statements redundant and its a bit faster.

nino: Glad you like it bro :D

Thanks guys

Cool, Yabasic! 3D too!

I like the light source effect particularly.

Just when you think the only thing you can say about ps2yabasic is "please die"...someone comes along and does something like this, and makes you realise you don't need Pixelshader3.0 to do a good demo :)

Cheers!

That's fantastic :) The pumpkin model rules!
I wasn't expecting to see any Yabasic things in the comp and I am glad that we have one!

Thanks for the nice comments. I can't say I like the fact that it is a dying language but I do like the fact that people are still programming c64/amiga/speccy/atari so playstation2 should have another decade or two left in it yet :P

Takes me back a bit to when we used to give away PS2 memory cards for competitions like this... Perhaps if you win this Rainstorm you should have one instead of the Amazon voucher ;)
