Recent Treads on Front of DBF Page? Good Idea

I thought it would be really cool to have Recent Treads on Front of DBF Page
Because it would be easy to access it and also it will tell you the informations straight away at the front of DBF PAGE...

The portal could display recent posts.

Anyone else want me to do that?

What is XML mean and what does it do?

The only problem with such a system is current posts exceeding the display slots allowed. We have this on my forum and sometimes posts are overlooked because people only look at the 5 or so most recent posts. Just something to think about.

IF I was designing my forum and I would put Recent Treads on Front of DBF Page because it is very direct(just one click on the treads you want to read) rather than click general chat >> click the form you want to read.

XML doesn't really do anything

It's a way of moving data around really in a way that should be theoretically very compatible between all kinds of sytems, lots of web pages with dynamic content use it these days.
