uploading to untergrund

I just got the all clear for some webhosting over at untergrund.net but I dont have a clue how to actually upload intros there. I have managed to figure out how to open a ftp site in internet explorer but no matter what I try I cant login to my user account on the ftp site, my login works fine for the untergrund html site

Is there anyone here that has an untergrund account and can you explain to me what I need to do in simple words

I dont have an untergrund ftp acount, but you need an ftp client.

anything like;
filezilla
cuteftp
smartftp
Will do.

Accross the top of the client you will see;

Hostname:
Username:
Password:
Port:

Or something similar to that.
Your login details will look a little bit like this;

Hostname: ftp.untergrund.net
Username: your_name@untergrund.net
Password: your_account_password
Port: Can_usually_be_left_blank

Enter your details and click connect. This will log you into the directory that you have been assigned.

If there is no index.html or index.php you will get a listing of the directory when you enter your url into the browser.

If you want to make your directory private while you work on it you can do that by having a .htaccess and .htpassword in the directory.

Thanks Shockwave I wont hesitate to ask I was gonna put the link there but that page was banged together in such a hurry my feet didnt touch the floor before it was out there. I will be putting up a small intro here today (something I have been working on since the last compo but never got the size down in time) and will add dbf to the links when I update the site
