i've been trying to upload an avatar, but with no luck...

its this image:

but the thingee won't accept it. I tried making it a 24bit png but that didn't work either...and when it did work, it did not have the transparency that I saved. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I didn't know where to ask for help.

Stuff like this is best pm'd to Shockwave if you're not having much luck with stuff. Eg, account problems / board bugs. Please try and not bog down the poor dude.

In the General Terms of use thread in the announcements, it says:

Avatars.. Feel free to link to an off site avatar or upload one to our server, avatars should be 65*65 Maximum....

thanks I'll keep all that in mind. I didn't see that restriction, I'll make sure to look harder next time.

Yup, I restricted the size of the Avatars to keep the tables all tidy looking and to keep bandwidth down.

As far as reporting problems are concerned, please don't feel bad about posting them or sending me a PM if you have an issue with the board, or a problem with your account, I really don't mind, usually I will get back in touch with you the same day, depends on what's going on.

If you want to post your problem like you have then that's ok too
