It's useful for the Yabasic stuff, you can download the Yabasic emulator from there, written by Jim Shaw and also there are squillions of Yabasic demos on the board, all open source if you look around.
In addition to this, there's console homebrew stuff and Blitz Basic stuff by the bucketful.
You can ask them any code related topic you want and I've never seen them stuck for an answer yet.
