[C++] Customizable IDE's / Editors
« on: March 10, 2009 »
Could you post up some links to IDE's / Code Editors that will function with VS Express 2008 please?

What I am particulaly after is something that can deal with using themes, and the ability of having pre defined command keywords, and the ability to add my own ons. And nothing that's cheap looking and very basic.

A big thumb of appreciation,
Clyde.

To my knowledge there are no other ide's that work with visual studio for c++ and to be honest I dont know why you would want one, the visual studio ide is one of the best there is. If however your finding it to overwhelming compared to say the blitz or fbide then perhaps you might be more comfortable using DevC++ (which does not use the MS compiler but mingw or gcc i think) but even the newer versions of DevC++ use a layout similiar to visual studios.
