Yay!
« on: March 02, 2007 »
I added my first tutorial to the site today. The online tutorial feature (sorry to keep banging the drum) is really powerful, the editor has some excellent features enabling you to go straight into it and even edit your article on line in real time, with text formatting changes appearing in real time just like in a word processor.

The article I have added applies to everyone who uses freebasic with tinyptc and those people who would like to use freebasic. I have noticed that some demos do not use the latest tinyptc versions by rbraz and the refresh therefore isn't as good as it could be. If you read this totorial it gives a good guide on what you need to do to update it so that you are running the best version.

I will be adding some tutorials to get basic effects made using tinyptc so that novice coders will be able to write graphics intros :)

Also you can comment directly on and rate articles in the showcase too.

You could always put up your article you did for Hugi! :D

Here's a question to everyone out there; What do you struggle with the most? And what would really help you out on your road to special effects and code?

The tutorial is here FB Starting off I don't know what the tutorial was about in Hugi by Thygrion, I haven't read Hugi for a while.

I am going to follow up that starting off in FB tutorial this week. I have even made a library to do the basic stuff like plotting, triangles, rectangles, text, curves etc.. I'll be using it to make some tutorials. Stay tuned!
