Interesting factlet, Mother's Day is different over here
UK 18th March 2007 (4th Sunday in Lent)
US/AU 13th May 2007 (2nd Sunday in May)
The UK one's based on Mothering Sunday, the US one is a sycophantic marketing ploy :P.

Yeah, here in the US, the card companies have managed to make everything under the sun a "holiday" and of course they sell cards for it.

SHOCK ...  :o ... today is Mother's Day ? I was really shocked when I
read this - because I didnt have it in mind.

But fortunately, Mother's Day in Germany is "celebrated" in May. This
year on the 13th. Puh ... still got some time to order some flowers ;)

Here in Egypt we celebrate the mother day on 21 march  ,  it is the first day in spring season.

No doubt , all mothers do deserve a big thanks for their great care of their Children.

And we should not  forget to thank our great mother , Santa Maria  , for her care of  Jesus.
