Refresh is really steady and fps here is well over 300 fps, it works well as a preview but it doesn't look finished to me.

The thing that needs improving is that the letters do not re-size smoothly, although the rotations are smooth. Maybe it's some thing with integers or the scroll letters could be pre-calculated?

A simple linear texturing routine would take care of this and make it look twice as nice :)
