[???] Japan and China Scene

I've heard and know of there being a European and Americas scene.

I was wondering if there exists a Japaneese and Chinese scene; probably known as the Austral Asian scene; including Asia, Australlia, New Zealand, China, Japan etc.

Hope you know what I mean by the above, appologies if my Geography is a little rusty.

I'm in Malaysia (located between Thailand and Singapore)  - South East Asia. haven't found any serious sceners yet. Me myself still struggling on OpenGL.

On pouet I saw a japanese demo awhile back, can't remember the name and afaik it was a one-man prod..

I found that there was an annual Japanese demo party called 2chparty, it had demo competitions too.
I don't think that the japanese scene is really big but I found this site...

Thanks for the info, nice to know that there is a scene in those countries albiet not quite as popular as in our neck of the woods.
